From Malavli  a tar road takes one to Bhaje village  within 20 minutes.  From here one can go to Bhaje caves  by well constructed steps which is around  10 minutes.

For Lohgad  one can go back to Bhaje village and take a left path to Lohgad or from the caves one can take the path which descends down to the stream below and crossing this stream the path joins the cart road coming from Bhaje village.  There are two forts Visapur on the left and Lohgad on the right.  The col in between is know as Gai-khind. Reaching here within 30 minutes one tends to take rest and proceed to Lohgadwadi which is within 5 minutes.  Here one can have hot tea,  Poha and proceed to the fort.  On the way to the top there are four successive entrances, the Ganesh darwaja, Narayan darwaja, Hanuman darwaja and Maha darwaja.   After entering through Maha darwaja, on the left there is a tomb and as one advances further along the fortification one comes across a big rock cut cave.  This cave is known as Lomesh rishi cave.   From the top, Tung and Tikona hills are seen to the south, Dukes nose at west, Pavana dam offers a wonderful view in the south direction.   A narrow spur of the fort stretches westwards which is fortified on both sides known as Vinchu-kata  (Scorpions sting ).  One can spend the night in Lomesh rishi cave and next morning within one hour one can complete the visit of the fort and head for Visapur
